 Abstract:  Hermann Baehr (1866-1942) was an Iowa native who became Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio, in 1909. His projects included railroad grade crossing elimination, the construction of the East Ninth Street Pier, a new water main to the West Side, chlorination of the city's water supply and the purchase of land for City Hall. The collection consists of correspondence and bills.
